Regular Season Round 22: TiuMenas-Ezer. - Triobet 77-80

The most exciting game of round 22 in the NKL took place in Moletai. This derby game ended with only three-point home defeat of one of their biggest challengers TiuMenas-Ezer. (13-6) to fifth ranked Triobet (14-6) 80-77 in the game for the fourth place. The guests were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Forward Henrikas Vorotnikovas (203-90) fired 14 points for the winners. point guard Tadas Sebeziovas (183-85) chipped in 10 points and 5 rebounds. Forward Nerijus Varnelis (201-78) produced 15 points and 9 rebounds and forward Osvaldas Macernis (200-82) added 18 points respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Triobet have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place. TiuMenas-Ezer. at the other side dropped to the fifth position with six games lost. Triobet are looking forward to face Olimpas (#14) in Plunge in the next round and are hoping to win another game. TiuMenas-Ezer. will play on the road against the league's second-placed Trakai (#2) and is hoping to win this game.
