Regular Season Round 18: Wilki Morskie - Widzew 79-55

No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked Wilki Morskie (9-9) crushed 9th ranked Widzew (3-15) in Szczecin 79-55. Wilki Morskie forced 21 Widzew turnovers. They shot the lights out from three nailing 13 long-distance shots on high 52.0 percentage. Wilki Morskie players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. The best player for the winners was American point guard Ketia Swanier (170-86, college: Connecticut) who scored 19 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists. The other American import forward Cathrine Kraayeveld (193-81, college: Oregon, agency: LBM Management) chipped in 23 points and 7 rebounds. Four Wilki Morskie players scored in double figures. Coach Krzysztof Koziorowicz's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. At the other side the best for losing team was international Aleksandra Pawlak (189-84) who recorded 18 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists and American power forward Sarah Boothe (195-90, college: Stanford) added 18 points and 9 rebounds respectively. Newly promoted Wilki Morskie maintains sixth position with 9-9 record. Widzew at the other side keeps the ninth place with 15 games lost.
