Semi-Finals Game 3: Osorno Basq. - Boston Coll. 82-75

Osorno Basquete grabbed 2-1 lead in the best-of-five semifinal series agaisnt Boston College. They held off their opponents at home court. Osorno will now look forward to closing out the series at home court tonight. Boston College trailed by 11 points at halftime and as many as 13 after three quarters before a 23-17 last quarter charge cut the deficit to 75-82 at the end of the game. Osorno Basq. forced 23 Boston College turnovers. 24 personal fouls committed by Boston College helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a good game for American swingman Marcus Morrison (198-84, college: Middle Tenn.St.) who led his team to a victory with 28 points and 4 assists. His fellow American import power forward Rashad Jones-Jennings (203-84, college: UALR) contributed with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Osorno Basq.'s coach Manuel Cordoba used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The former international point guard Erik Carrasco (181-83) answered with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists and American Benjamin Puckett (205-83, college: Clayton St., agency: I.D.S. Law) added 22 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Boston College. Four Boston College players scored in double figures.
