There was no surprise in Slavonski Brod where 10th ranked Djuro Djakovic (1-9) was defeated by fifth ranked Alkar Sinj (7-3) 75-70 on Saturday. Djuro Djakovic was trailing by 5 points at halftime but managed to get 11-point lead after three quarters before a 24-8 charge of Alkar Sinj, which allowed them to win the game. They dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Djuro Djakovic's 28. They outrebounded Djuro Djakovic 38-25 including 27 on the defensive glass. Forward Toni Vitali (201-91) had a double-double by scoring 22 points and 13 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and guard Luka Zitko (196-81) chipped in 13 points and 6 assists during the contest.
