Regular Season Round 18: CCC Polkowice - Wisla Krakow 63-73

An interesting game for Wisla Krakow (18-0) which played road game in Polkowice against second-best CCC Polkowice (14-4). Top-ranked Wisla Krakow managed to get a 10-point victory 73-63. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of CCC Polkowice. It looked good early as CCC Polkowice took an 3-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Wisla Krakow had a 17-11 second period charge getting the lead and CCC Polkowice was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 63-73. Wisla Krakow dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to CCC Polkowice's 34. They outrebounded CCC Polkowice 36-25 including 23 on the defensive glass. The best for the losing side was Russian guard Valeriya Musina (183-87, college: Lee) with 25 points and the former international center Agnieszka Majewska (195-82) scored 8 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Wisla Krakow have an impressive 18-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 18-0 record. Defending champion CCC Polkowice keeps the second place with four games lost.
