No shocking result in a game when eighth ranked Sigma Barcellona (9-7) defeated at home 10th ranked Novipiu Casale (7-9) 75-69. Novipiu Casale was tied at the half but could not keep up in last two quarters eventually losing the game. Sigma Barcellona dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Novipiu Casale's 20 and made 17-of-21 charity shots (81.0 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Novipiu Casale 34-21 including 22 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of American-Bulgarian point guard Andre Collins (183-82, college: Loyola, MD) who helped to win the game recording 22 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. American swingman Alex Young (198-89, college: IUPUI) contributed with 17 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. American point guard Kevin Dillard (183-89, college: Dayton) replied with 19 points and 5 assists (made all of his eight free throws) and the former international power forward Niccolo Martinoni (202-89) added 16 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Novipiu Casale. Sigma Barcellona moved-up to sixth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Novipiu Casale at the other side keeps the tenth position with nine games lost.
