Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both eighth ranked Ironi Ashkelon and 9th ranked Hapoel Kfar Saba had identical 6-7 record. This time Ironi Ashkelon used a home court advantage and crushed the opponent from Kfar Saba 93-69. The game was mostly controlled by Ironi Ashkelon. Hapoel Kfar Saba was better in fourth quarter 18-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Ironi Ashkelon made 20-of-23 charity shots (87.0 percent) during the game. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Ironi Ashkelon have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Hapoel Migd.H. Hapoel Kfar Saba lost third consecutive game. They keep the ninth position with eight games lost. Ironi Ashkelon's next round opponent will be higher ranked Hapoel Afula (#4) on the road and it may be quite challenging game. Hapoel Kfar Saba will play against Ironi Ramat Gan (#3) and hope to win that game.
