Regular Season Round 24: Vilnius-MRU - Triobet 67-52

The most important game in the last round took place in Vilnius between second ranked Triobet (15-7) and sixth ranked Vilnius-MRU (13-10) on Saturday night. Triobet was defeated by Vilnius-MRU on the road 67-52. It ended at the same time the eight-game winning streak of Triobet. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Dominykas Domarkas (188-92) who helped to win the game recording 17 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals and forward Karolis Brusokas (200-91) who added 15 points and 11 rebounds during the contest. Four Vilnius-MRU players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was point guard Tadas Sebeziovas (183-85) with 14 points and Paulius Vaitiekunas (205-92) scored 12 points (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Vilnius-MRU maintains sixth position with 13-10 record. Triobet at the other side dropped to the fourth place with seven games lost. Vilnius-MRU are looking forward to face league's second-placed Trakai on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Triobet will play against Suduva-Mantinga and is hoping to win this game.
