Regular Season Round 16: BK Kremen - Pulsar 87-99

An interesting game took place in Kremenchuk where 12th ranked BK Kremen (2-7) was upset on its own court by fifteenth ranked BC-93 Pulsar (2-9) 99-87. The game was mostly controlled by BC-93 Pulsar. BK Kremen was better in third quarter 32-25. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. BC-93 Pulsar forced 22 BK Kremen turnovers. 28 personal fouls committed by BK Kremen helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a very good performance for point guard Taras Lipin (185-93) who helped to win the game recording 39 points (!!!) and 4 assists. Forward Yuri Kuzminets (204-84) contributed with 17 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Center Gleb Glebov (208-82) replied with 29 points and Russian center Igor Chumichev (208-89) added 10 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for BK Kremen. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. BK Kremen's coach Andriy Kondrashov rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. BC-93 Pulsar moved-up to thirteenth place. BK Kremen lost third consecutive game. They keep the twelfth position with seven games lost. BC-93 Pulsar's next round opponent will be higher ranked Musson (#11) in Symferopil and it may be quite challenging game.
