Very important is a road loss of third ranked Melbourne Tigers (10-8) against fourth ranked Kings (8-8) on Sunday night. Visiting Melbourne Tigers were defeated by Kings in Sydney 97-84. It was a very close game until the last quarter, when Kings's pressure prevailed and they won that period 29-21 extending their advantage to 13 points. Melbourne Tigers were plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch.
