Pinheiros/Sky beat Toros to tie the records at 1-1 in Group A of the Liga Americas. The Brazilian side posted a 77:71 win in Day 2 of the tournament. Toros won the first period 20-18, but the Brazilian team replied with a 23-17 rally in the second frame. The team from Mexico managed to win the third period 18-16, but fell short in the last stanza. Pinheiros/Sky closed the game with a 22-18 surge and sealed the initial win. Araujo Babby made two free throws at the end of the game for the final result. Stallworth Shamell top-scored for the winners with 25 points and Araujo Babby netted 15. Tavernari Jonathan notched 12, whilst Ferreira Mineiro had 7. Rougeau Rene produced 19 points in a loss and Henning Adrian brought 14. Gonzalez Quentin scored 12, whilst Allen Myron had 11.
