Regular Season Round 25: Triobet - Suduva-Mantinga 74-67

Very expected game in Jonava where 10th ranked Suduva-Mantinga (8-15) was defeated by fourth ranked Triobet (16-7) 74-67 on Friday. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 3-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 74-67. Triobet forced 19 Suduva-Mantinga turnovers. Point guard Tadas Sebeziovas (183-85) stepped up and scored 19 points for the winners and forward Tomas Milinskas (203-90) chipped in 12 points and 10 rebounds. At the losing side forward Audrius Mineikis (201-77) responded with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 13 rebounds and forward Marius Valukonis (198-88) scored 21 points. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Triobet moved-up to third place, which they share with Delikatesas. Loser Suduva-Mantinga dropped to the eleventh position with 15 games lost. They share it with Palanga and Nafta Univers.. Triobet will meet Zanavykas (#9) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Suduva-Mantinga will play against the league's leader Mazeikiai and hope to secure a win.
