Regular Season Round 58: Austin T. - Tulsa 66ers 104-91

Myck Kabongo scored 19 points as the Austin Toros had five players in double figures to defeat the Tulsa 66ers 104-91 at the Cedar Park Center on Friday night, ending their three-game losing streak. Josh Howard and Courtney Fells each scored 16 while Eric Dawson and Flip Murray notched 14 apiece. With the Toros (11-14) leading 13-9 early in the first, a 16-1 run helped them double up the 66ers for a 36-18 lead after the first. The 66ers (9-18) were able to hang around, however, outscoring the Toros in the second quarter to cut the lead to 54-44 by halftime. Kabongo led all scorers at halftime with 11 points and started the second half much like the first, scoring on a layup to give the Toros a 12 point lead. The 66ers once again fought back, cutting the lead to three points by the end of the third, but the Toros outscored them by 10 in the final period to seal the win. Courtesy of: statesman.com
