There was a minor upset in Trapani where 4th placed Lighthouse TR (11-8) was defeated by sixth ranked Sigma Barcellona (11-8) 93-76 on Sunday. The guests trailed by 3 points at the halftime before their 59-39 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Sigma Barcellona shot 64.5 percent from the field and made 102-of-113 free shots (90.3 percent) during the game. Sigma Barcellona forced 20 Lighthouse TR turnovers. Strangely Lighthouse TR outrebounded Sigma Barcellona 108-91 including a 69-58 advantage in defensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three sinking 47 long-distance shots on high 73.4 percentage. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Sigma Barcellona made 21 blocks. Lighthouse TR was plagued by 102 personal fouls down the stretch. American swingman Alex Young (198-89, college: IUPUI) fired 24 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. The former international power forward Tommaso Fantoni (204-85, agency: Players Group) chipped in 20 points and 9 rebounds. American point guard Kelvin Parker (184-82, college: NW Missouri St.) produced 17 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and power forward Patrick Baldassarre (200-86, agency: Players Group) added 15 points and 10 rebounds respectively for lost side.
