D1 top team - Elitzur Ramla (14-2) had no problems winning another game on Monday. This time they crushed ninth ranked Hap.Petah Tikva (3-13) 90-65. The game without a history. Elitzur Ramla led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Hap.Petah Tikva's 28. Elitzur Ramla forced 22 Hap.Petah Tikva turnovers and outrebounded them 40-28 including 26 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. American guard Allison Hightower (178-88, college: LSU, agency: Josep and Nicolas) had a double-double by scoring 25 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists to lead the charge for the winners and the former international Katia Levitsky (190-85, college: Villanova) chipped in 18 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was American guard Juanita Ward (180-86, college: Syracuse, agency: Merit Management Group) with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 11 rebounds and her fellow American import forward Kaili McLaren (188-88, college: Connecticut) scored 10 points. Elitzur Ramla have an impressive five-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 14-2 record, which they share with Maccabi Ashdod. Hap.Petah Tikva at the other side stay at the bottom place with 13 games lost.
