Halcones Xalapa achieve the second straight win at the Liga Americas campaign. The home side of Group C posted an 82:76 win over UniCEUB BRB and took 2-0 record on top. The Brazilian side dropped at 0-2 record. UniCEUB BRB erupted with a 27-19 surge in the start of the game, but could not take the victory. Halcones Xalapa managed to respond with a 15-14 rally in the second frame and then exploded in the last stanza. The Mexican squad won the fourth period 28-15 and grabbed a 6-point total win. Harris Jovan paced all the winners with 17 points, while Mata Lorenzo collected 14 points and 21 rebounds. Alonzo Noe brought 14, whilst Dalmau Christian had 13. Goree Marcus answered with 20 points and 12 rebounds, whilst Giovannoni Guilherme had 17. Baxter Jimmy and Ribeiro Alex scored 13 points each in a loss.
