Date: February 13, 2014
Everything could happen in Stykkisholmur at the game between two tied teams. Both ninth ranked Snaefell and 8th ranked IR had identical 6-10 record. This time Snaefell used a home court advantage and won against the opponent from Reykjavik 94-79 on Thursday night. The game was mostly controlled by Snaefell. IR managed to win third quarter 34-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded IR 48-29 including a 37-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. American point guard Travis Cohn (187-89, college: Jacksonville) nailed 28 points and 8 rebounds for the winning side and the former international forward Sigurdur Thorvaldsson (201-80) accounted for 26 points and 8 rebounds.
