There was a minor upset when 10th ranked Pulaski Warka (5-14) was defeated at home by twelfth ranked Ostrow Mazow. (0-19) 72-63 on Saturday. The guests were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Ostrow Mazow. outrebounded Pulaski Warka 48-37 including a 32-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great evening for forward Piotr Barszcz (198-81) who led his team to a victory scoring 25 points and 7 rebounds. Forward Radoslaw Zareba (198-81) helped adding 17 points and 4 assists. At the losing side forward Konrad Kapturski (197-83) responded with 25 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Pawel Piros (185-88) scored 10 points and 8 rebounds. Pulaski Warka's coach Marek Brzeznicki gave the chance to play for ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Newly promoted Ostrow Mazow. maintains twelfth place in Group C with 0-19 record. Pulaski Warka lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the ninth position with 14 games lost. Ostrow Mazow. will face higher ranked MKS Skierniew. (#4) in Skierniewice in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
