Regular Season Round 30: Triobet - Palanga 81-92

An interesting game took place in Jonava where higher ranked Triobet (17-10) was upset on its own court by twelfth ranked Palanga (10-17) 92-81. The game was mostly controlled by Palanga. Triobet was better in fourth quarter 29-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 16-of-21 charity shots (76.2 percent) during the game. Strangely Triobet outrebounded Palanga 42-26 including a 21-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a good game for point guard Deividas Anuzis (181-92) who led his team to a victory with 18 points and 5 assists. Forward Ignas Pavilonis (196-90, college: Whitman) contributed with 13 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Five Palanga players scored in double figures. point guard Tadas Sebeziovas (183-85) replied with 26 points and forward Tomas Milinskas (203-90) added 13 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Triobet. Triobet's coach Kestutis Narusevicius tested eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Palanga moved-up to eleventh place. Triobet lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the fifth position with ten games lost.
