Twelfth-ranked Leca (1-16) made lots of trouble for seventh ranked Esgueira (9-9) on Saturday. Esgueira managed to secure only two-point victory 76-74. However their fans expected much easier game. The hosts trailed by 8 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 1-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 76-74. Esgueira forced 21 Leca turnovers. Point guard Joao Campos (179-83) stepped up and scored 20 points and 4 assists for the winners and guard Samuel Loio (180-89) chipped in 17 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists.
