No shocking result in a game when seventh ranked ratiopharm Ulm (12-9) beat on the road 14th ranked Eisbaeren Bremerhaven (7-14) 89-72 on Sunday. Eisbaeren Bremerhaven was trailing by 2 points at halftime but managed to get 3-point lead after three quarters before a 28-8 charge of ratiopharm Ulm, which allowed them to win the game. It was a good game for American guard Cameron Long (193-88, college: George Mason, agency: KMG Sports Management) who led his team to a victory with 22 points and 5 assists. International point guard Per Guenther (185-88) contributed with 16 points and 6 assists for the winners. Four ratiopharm Ulm players scored in double figures. Lithuanian Adas Juskevicius (194-89) answered with 17 points and 8 rebounds and American point guard Darius Adams (182-89, college: Indianapolis, agency: Three Eye Sports) added 19 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Eisbaeren Bremerhaven. ratiopharm Ulm moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Telekom Bsk. Loser Eisbaeren Bremerhaven keeps the fourteenth position with 14 games lost. ratiopharm Ulm will face league's second-placed Brose Baskets in Bamberg in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Eisbaeren Bremerhaven will play on the road against BBC Bayreuth (#17) and hope to win that game.
