Regular Season Round 7: Norrkoping - Rapla 84-52

Very expected game when 6th ranked Estonian Rapla (3-9) was crushed on the road by second ranked Swedish Norrkoping Dolphins (9-3) 84-52 on Sunday. The hosts trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 10-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 84-52. It was a great evening for American forward William Walker (200-87, college: Bethel, IN) who led his team to a victory scoring 17 points and 9 rebounds. Czech center Jan Tomanec (205-85) helped adding 14 points and 6 rebounds. Walker is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Norrkoping Dolphins players scored in double figures. At the losing side Slovenian center Ziga Fifolt (211-93) responded with 7 points and 9 rebounds and Martin Paasoja (191-93) scored 12 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Norrkoping Dolphins maintains second place in Group A with 9-3 record behind leader Pyrinto. Loser Rapla keeps the sixth position with nine games lost.
