The game between second ranked P.Zvaigzdes (14-9) and 7th ranked Nevezis (8-13) in Pasvalys on Tuesday ended with biggest points difference. P.Zvaigzdes beat guests from Kedainiai 73-60. The game was mostly controlled by P.Zvaigzdes. Nevezis managed to win second period 19-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Center Egidijus Dimsa (205-85) nailed a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds for the winning side and the former international swingman Arturas Jomantas (200-85) accounted for 12 points and 7 rebounds. Four P.Zvaigzdes players scored in double figures. Tauras Jogela (203-93) came up with 18 points and Valdas Dabkus (205-84) added 8 points and 15 rebounds respectively for Nevezis in the defeat. P.Zvaigzdes maintains second place with 14-9 record having six points less than leader Tonybet. Nevezis lost fifth consecutive game. They dropped to the eighth position with 13 games lost. P.Zvaigzdes will meet Lietkabelis (#10) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Nevezis will play against Siauliai and hope to secure a win.
