Regular Season Round 108: Minnesota T. - Indiana P. 104-91

Date: February 19, 2014
Kevin Love is one of several NBA players waiting to see what happens with the trade deadline less than 24 hours away, but he showed little worry on Wednesday night, scoring 42 points in guiding Minnesota to victory over Indiana. Love has been rumored this week on the move, with Los Angeles and Dallas the reported teams interested in the star forward, but that had no effect on his game as he made 14 off 22 shots from the floor, including 5 of 10 from three point territory as the Wolves improved to 26-28 on the year. Paul George led the Pacers attack with 35 points and 11 rebounds, but 21 turnovers on the night hurt Indiana's chances of picking up a road win. The Pacers dropped to 41-13, but still holds a two game lead over Miami for the best record in the Eastern Conference. Minnesota is 5.5 games behind Dallas for the eighth and final spot in the Western Conference Playoff chase, but this win should help the team with confidence as the second half of the 2013-14 NBA season gets going this week.
