Beijing held off Shanghai to clinch the place in the title series. The hosts trailed by 5 points at the halftime before their 33-21 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Beijing Great Wall made 16-of-17 free shots (94.1 percent) during the game. It was a good game for Australian center Elizabeth Cambage (203-91) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 29 points and 15 rebounds (went 9 for 9 at the free throw line !!!). Forward Ting Shao (183-89) contributed with 15 points for the winners. American center Sylvia Fowles (198-85, college: LSU) answered with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds and point guard Xiufeng Shi (178-87) added 13 points and 4 assists in the effort for Shanghai Octopus.
