There was no surprise when 5th ranked Energa Czarni (10-9) was defeated on the road by third ranked Trefl Sopot (15-4) 89-72. The game was mostly controlled by Trefl Sopot. Energa Czarni was better in fourth quarter 23-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Trefl Sopot made 23-of-29 charity shots (79.3 percent) during the game. 24 personal fouls committed by Energa Czarni helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Trefl Sopot. They moved-up to second place, which they share with PGE Turow. Energa Czarni at the other side keeps the fifth position with nine games lost. Trefl Sopot's next round opponent will be Rosa Radom (#6) on the road. Energa Czarni will play against AZS Koszalin and hope to win that game.
