Siauliai handed the second straight defeat to Barsy Atyrau and sealed the next round place. The game was mostly controlled by Siauliai. Barsy Atyrau was better in fourth quarter 20-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Barsy Atyrau 42-27 including a 30-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. Siauliai players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. American guard Travis Leslie (193-90, college: Georgia) notched a double-double by scoring 23 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the effort and guard Darius Pakamanis (192-81) supported him with 14 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Siauliai's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 17 points and 5 assists by American guard Bryan Harrison (188-84, college: Georgia Coll., agency: Global Sports Plaza) did not help to save the game for Barsy Atyrau. Lithuanian forward Gytis Sirutavicius (195-83) added 19 points for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
