Beijing got to the winning start of WCBA Finals. They upset Shanxi on the road behind a huge night from Elizabeth Cambage. The guests trailed by 2 points after three quarters before their 25-21 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Beijing Great Wall outrebounded Shanxi Rui Flame 38-21 including 23 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of Australian center Elizabeth Cambage (203-91) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 48 points (!!!) and 21 rebounds (made all of her ten free throws !!!). Forward Ting Shao (183-89) contributed with 18 points for the winners. American Maya Moore (183-89, college: Connecticut) answered with a double-double by scoring 46 points (!!!), 8 rebounds, 6 assists and 11 steals (made all of her fourteen free throws !!!) and center Dong Yu (195-93) added 16 points and 6 assists in the effort for Shanxi Rui Flame.
