Quarter-Finals Round 4: TianJin S. - DongGuan L. 109-114

DongGuan claimed a road win over Tianjin in a high-flying encounter and sealed their ticket into the semis. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 32-28. But TianJin Steel won second period 27-24. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. DongGuan Leopards dominated down low during the game scoring 78 of its points in the paint compared to TianJin Steel's 56. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Bobby Brown (188-84, college: CS Fullerton) who helped to win the game recording 35 points (!!!) and 6 assists. The other American import forward Donte Greene (206-88, college: Syracuse) contributed with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Jordanian forward Zaid Abbas (203-83) replied with a double-double by scoring 30 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists and American point guard Sebastian Telfair (183-85) added 18 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists in the effort for TianJin Steel. Four DongGuan Leopards and five TianJin Steel players scored in double figures.
