Second Stage Round 6: Gaz Metan - TU/Rock 66-90

TU/Rock sealed the top finish in Group I. Rather expected game in Medias where 4th ranked Romanian Gaz Metan (0-6) was crushed by first ranked Estonian TU/Rock (5-1) 90-66 on Tuesday. The guests trailed by 4 points at the halftime before their 50-22 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Point guard Valmo Kriisa (190-74) scored 15 points and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and center Joosep Toome (208-85) chipped in 15 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Four TU/Rock players scored in double figures. TU/Rock's coach felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was Montenegrin center Radomir Marojevic (207-81) with 17 points and Serbian forward Slavisa Bogavac (200-80, agency: BeoExcell) scored 12 points and 6 rebounds.
