Semi-Finals Game 1: DongGuan L. - Xinjiang FT 107-108

Xinjiang escaped with a narrow road win over DongGuan in the opening game of the semifinal series. DongGuan Leopards were ahead by 3 points at the halftime before a 31-22 third quarter run of Xinjiang Flying Tige. They made 22-of-26 charity shots (84.6 percent) during the game. Xinjiang Flying Tige outrebounded DongGuan Leopards 47-32 including a 34-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of forward James Singleton (203-81, college: Murray St.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 27 points and 12 rebounds. American Lester Hudson (190-84, college: Tenn-Martin, agency: Priority Sports) contributed with 23 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Four Xinjiang Flying Tige players scored in double figures. Xinjiang Flying Tige's coach WanJun Cui allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. American point guard Bobby Brown (188-84, college: CS Fullerton) answered with 35 points (!!!) and the former international center Kai Zhang (212-82) added 21 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for DongGuan Leopards.
