The game between sixth ranked Zalgiris (11-4) and 9th ranked Nevezis (9-15) in Kaunas ended with biggest points difference. Zalgiris outscored guests from Kedainiai 95-56. The game without a history. Zalgiris led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Nevezis to just 7 points in fourth quarter. Zalgiris made 19-of-25 charity shots (76.0 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Nevezis 43-19 including a 30-11 advantage in defensive rebounds. Zalgiris will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Nevezis will play on the road against Lietkabelis (#10) in Panevezys and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
