An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Ramla. First ranked Elitzur Ramla faced 3rd ranked Ramat Hasharon. Host Elitzur Ramla (18-2) defeated guests from Hasharon (12-8) 77-60. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Ramat Hasharon. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Allison Hightower (178-88, college: LSU, agency: Josep and Nicolas) who helped to win the game recording 14 points and 8 assists and Jamaican power forward Vanessa Gidden (192-85, college: Hofstra) who added 13 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Five Elitzur Ramla players scored in double figures. Elitzur Ramla's coach Adan Inbar used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side American center Shamela Hampton (191-87, college: UNLV) responded with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds and naturalized American guard Jacqui Kalin (175-89, college: N.Iowa, agency: Regeneracom Sports) scored 12 points. Elitzur Ramla have an impressive nine-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 18-2 record. Loser Ramat Hasharon keeps the third place with eight games lost. Elitzur Ramla will meet Hapoel Rishon Le-Zion (#5) on the road in the next round. Ramat Hasharon will play against the league's second-placed Maccabi Ashdod and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
