Everything went according to plan when fifth ranked Le Portel (20-14) won against at home 8th ranked Poitiers (17-17) 76-63 on Friday. The game was mostly controlled by Le Portel. Poitiers was better in third quarter 18-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 16-of-18 free shots (88.9 percent) during the game. Le Portel have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain fifth position with 20-14 record. Poitiers lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the tenth place with 17 games lost. Le Portel will face Hyeres-Toulon (#7) on the road in the next round. Poitiers will play against SPO Rouen and hope to win that game and get promotion back to the ProA just one year after relegation.
