Windsor cruised past Laurier to seal the next round appearance. The game was mostly controlled by Lancers. Laurier managed to win fourth quarter 14-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Laurier 42-23 including a 27-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. Lancers shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 57.1 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. International point guard Miah-Marie Langlois (173-91) nailed 30 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side and international guard Korissa Williams (175-92) accounted for 10 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Bree Chaput (173) came up with 10 points and 4 steals and center Whitney Ellenor (190-91, college: Canisius) added 11 points respectively for Laurier in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
