Quarter-Finals Round 4: Levice - Inter Bratislava 71-101

Inter Bratislava outscored Levice and sealed their next round ticket. The game was mostly controlled by Inter Bratislava. Levice managed to win fourth quarter 19-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Inter Bratislava dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Levice's 26. Inter Bratislava forced 21 Levice turnovers and outrebounded them 47-30 including 32 on the defensive glass. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Inter Bratislava made 7 blocks. Worth to mention a quality performance of Czech center Ondrej Starosta (215-79) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 19 points, 11 rebounds and 4 blocks and American guard Justin Graham (193-88, college: San Jose St.) who added 16 points and 10 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) during the contest. Five Inter Bratislava players scored in double figures. Inter Bratislava's coach Oleg Meleschenko felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side international power forward Maurizio Galata (203-92) responded with 30 points and forward Richard Klein (198-77) scored 14 points and 7 rebounds.
