Semi-Finals Game 2: Keflavik - Haukar 65-81

Haukar toppled Keflavik to take 2-0 lead in the series. It looked good early as Keflavik took an 12-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Haukar took control and eventually winning the game that evening by 16 points. They dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to Keflavik's 24. Haukar forced 19 Keflavik turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 37 assists. Keflavik was plagued by 42 personal fouls down the stretch. American swingman Lele Hardy (182-88, college: Clemson) notched a double-double by scoring 21 points, 15 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals to lead the effort and forward Audur Olafsdottir (173-92) supported her with 18 points and 8 rebounds. Four Haukar players scored in double figures. Even 31 points and 8 rebounds by American point guard Diamber Johnson (170-90, college: Mississippi St.) did not help to save the game for Keflavik. International Sara Run Hinriksdottir (165-96) added 11 points and 5 rebounds for the hosts.
