An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Gevgelija. Second ranked Kozuv faced 4th ranked Kumanovo 2009. Host Kozuv (14-2) defeated guests from Kumanovo (9-7) 98-87. The game was mostly controlled by Kozuv. Kumanovo 2009 managed to win second period 32-25. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Kozuv looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Kumanovo 2009's players. The best player for the winners was the former international guard Dimitar Karadzovski (190-84, agency: Global Sports Plaza) who scored 10 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists. Serbian point guard Igor Mijajlovic (194-84, agency: Global Sports Plaza) chipped in 15 points and 5 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was Serbian power forward Ivan Miskovic (203-84, college: Alaska-Fairb., agency: Duran International) who recorded 22 points and 9 rebounds and Serbian swingman Vukasin Mandic (200-82) added 22 points respectively. Five Kozuv and four Kumanovo 2009 players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Kozuv maintains second position with 14-2 record behind leader Rabotnicki. Kumanovo 2009 at the other side keeps the fourth place with seven games lost.
