Aguada clinch third spot at the Liga Americas. The teams traded baskets and the lead on the scoreboard during the first half of the set. Aguada managed to win the first period 36:29 and added massive 30-15 surge in the second frame. Aguada was accurate and continued its offensive with many passes, while on defense they caused problems on the Mexican team’s offense. Xalapa looked better on offense and decreased the lead of Aguada to 8 points, while Aguada stayed tough and grabbed 5-point total win. Garcia Morales Leandro erupted with 42 points for the winners and Smith Jeremis Stephon nailed 23. Morales Gonzales Pablo Daniel followed them with 22 points. Parada De Los Reyes Adam Oswald answered with 28 points in a loss and Mendez Orlando Homero poured in 20.
