DNA Gold top team - Trento (18-7) managed to deliver another win on Saturday. This time they beat sixth ranked Sigma Barcellona (15-11) 80-70. The hosts trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 6-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 80-70. Forward Davide Pascolo (201-90) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). Power forward Filippo Baldi Rossi (207-91) contributed with 14 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Five Trento players scored in double figures. American swingman Alex Young (198-89, college: IUPUI) replied with 22 points and the former international power forward Tommaso Fantoni (204-85, agency: Players Group) added 14 points in the effort for Sigma Barcellona. Trento maintains first position with 18-7 record. Sigma Barcellona at the other side keeps the sixth place with 11 games lost. Trento are looking forward to face league's second-placed Upea CdO in Capo d'Orlando in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Sigma Barcellona will play at home against Tezenis VE (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
