Xinjiang FT opened win count in CBA Finals. They upset Beijing Ducks on the road to narrow the deficit at 1-2. The game without a history. Xinjiang Flying Tige led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 22-of-29 free shots (75.9 percent) during the game. Xinjiang Flying Tige outrebounded Beijing Ducks 57-39 including a 27-12 advantage in offensive rebounds. 24 personal fouls committed by Beijing Ducks helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was American Lester Hudson (190-84, college: Tenn-Martin, agency: Priority Sports) who had a double-double by scoring 24 points and 13 rebounds. Forward James Singleton (203-81, college: Murray St.) chipped in a double-double by scoring 17 points and 18 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Stephon Marbury (188-77, college: Georgia Tech) who recorded 23 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists and the other American import power forward Randolph Morris (211-86, college: Kentucky) added 15 points and 14 rebounds respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Beijing Ducks' coach LuLei Min rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
