Maccabi Ashdod held off Ramat Hasharon to secure 1-0 lead in the semifinal series. Ramat Hasharon was ahead by 1 point at the halftime before a 47-27 second half run of Maccabi Ashdod. They made 26-of-29 charity shots (89.7 percent) during the game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists.
