PeKa outgunned Honka to sweep the quarterfinal series. The game without a history. Peli-Karhut led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They held Tapiolan Honka to an opponent 22.7 percent shooting from the field compared to 52.6 percent accuracy of the winners. They outrebounded Tapiolan Honka 51-36 including a 37-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. Peli-Karhut brought some defensive toughness making 9 blocks. It was a quality performance for the former international center Taru Tuukkanen (192-77, college: Xavier, agency: Regeneracom Sports) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 26 points, 16 rebounds and 7 blocks. American guard Andrea Barbour (178-89, college: VCU) accounted for 25 points and 14 rebounds for the winning side. Four Peli-Karhut players scored in double figures. The former international forward Henna Koponen (183-86, college: Coker) came up with 11 points and 9 rebounds and American forward Toccara Ross (183-86, college: Iowa St.) added 6 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Tapiolan Honka in the defeat. Tapiolan Honka's coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win.
