Quarter-Finals Round 3: KR - Snaefell 101-84

KR overcame Snaefell to advance into the semifinal stage. The game was mostly controlled by KR. Snaefell was better in second period 28-25. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists. It was a great evening for the former international guard Pavel Ermolinskij (202-87) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 9 rebounds and 18 assists. American forward Demond Watt (200-89, college: Texas A&M-CC) helped adding 27 points and 12 rebounds. The best for the losing side was the former international forward Sigurdur Thorvaldsson (201-80) with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 13 rebounds and American point guard Travis Cohn (187-89, college: Jacksonville) scored 20 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Snaefell's coach Ingi Thor Steinthorsson rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win.
