Stjarnan snatched a narrow road win over Keflavik to sweep the quarterfinal series. The guests trailed by 8 points after three quarters before their 25-16 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Stjarnan shot the lights out from three sinking 15 long-distance shots on high 51.7 percentage. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Stjarnan made 7 blocks. It was a good game for international point guard Justin Shouse (181-81, college: Mercyhurst) who saved his team from a defeat with a double-double by scoring 37 points (!!!), 6 rebounds and 10 assists. Marvin Valdimarsson (198-81) contributed with 19 points and 7 rebounds for the winners.
