Quarter-Finals Round 3: Njardvik - Haukar 81-77

Njardvik held off Haukar for the third straight victory in the quarterfinal series. The hosts trailed by 13 points after first quarter, but they rallied back and won the game by 4 points. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Njardvik made 7 blocks. It was an exceptional evening for international point guard Elvar Fridriksson (180-94) who led the winners and scored 19 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals. The former international Logi Gunnarsson (190-81) accounted for 20 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side. American forward Terrence Watson (200-87, college: Ball St.) came up with a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!) and 11 rebounds and guard Emil Barja (192-91) added 13 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists respectively for Haukar in the defeat.
