The game in was also quite interesting. 4th placed Shinshu BW (28-14) played at the court of sixth ranked Aomori Watts (22-21). Aomori Watts defeated Shinshu BW 90-75 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Aomori Watts. Shinshu BW was better in second period 23-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 25-of-33 free shots (75.8 percent) during the game. Aomori Watts had a 39-27 advantage in offensive rebounds. Nigerian forward Abdullahi Kuso (206-84, college: Tallahassee CC) fired a double-double by scoring 11 points and 14 rebounds for the winners. Guyanese-American forward Gordon Klaiber (206-83, college: Fair Dickinson) chipped in 20 points. American power forward Xavier Gibson (210-88, college: Florida St.) produced a double-double by scoring 18 points, 13 rebounds and 4 blocks and the other American import forward Jeffrey Parmer (203-85, college: Florida Atlantic) added 19 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. Five Aomori Watts and four Shinshu BW players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Aomori Watts moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Fukuoka Rizing. Loser Shinshu BW keeps the fourth position with 14 games lost. Aomori Watts will face again higher ranked Shinshu BW (#4) in Nagano in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
