Semi-Finals Game 1: GKS Tychy - AZS AWF K-ce 75-67

GKS Tychy prevailed against AZS Katowice in the opener. It looked good early as AZS AWF K-ce took an 6-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then GKS Tychy had a 20-11 second period charge getting the lead and AZS AWF K-ce was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 67-75. GKS Tychy made 16-of-18 charity shots (88.9 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Radoslaw Basinski (188-78) who helped to win the game recording 24 points and 6 assists. Power forward Tomasz Bzdyra (200-83) contributed with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Guard Lukasz Szczypka (185-80) answered with 33 points (!!!) and forward Kamil Nowak (197-88) added 17 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for AZS AWF K-ce.
