The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-ranked Kapfenberg Bulls (21-8) in Wien on Sunday night. Visitors were defeated by fourth ranked Zepter Vienna (20-9) 75-65. It ended at the same time the seven-game winning streak of Kapfenberg Bulls. The game was mostly controlled by Zepter Vienna. Kapfenberg Bulls managed to win fourth quarter 22-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Zepter Vienna made 17-of-20 free shots (85.0 percent) during the game. They also forced 20 Kapfenberg Bulls turnovers. It was a good game for Serbian Predrag Miletic (193-84) who led his team to a victory with 19 points. Five Zepter Vienna and four Kapfenberg Bulls players scored in double figures. Zepter Vienna have a solid series of four victories in a row. Defending champion moved-up to third place. Kapfenberg Bulls at the other side still keep top position with eight games lost. They share it with Gussing. Zepter Vienna are looking forward to face Xion Dukes (#6) in Klosterneuburg in the next round. Kapfenberg Bulls will play at home against the league's second-placed Gussing Knights (#2) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
