Familia Schio thumped Orvieto at the start of the playoffs. The game without a history. Familia Schio led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Orvieto to just 2 points in fourth quarter and to 13 points in second half. Familia Schio held Orvieto to an opponent 20.7 percent shooting from the field compared to 56.7 percent accuracy of the winners. Familia Schio forced 24 Orvieto turnovers and outrebounded them 46-30 including a 37-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Familia Schio especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 62.5 percentage. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Erlana Larkins (185-86, college: N.Carolina) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points, 13 rebounds, 4 assists and 6 steals. The former international power forward Jenifer Nadalin (186-83, college: Furman) contributed with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 16 rebounds for the winners. Five Familia Schio players scored in double figures. American swingman Darxia Morris (172-89, college: UCLA, agency: Merit Management Group) answered with 15 points and forward Azzurra Gaglio (183-89) added 10 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Orvieto.
